Transformers Star Loses Driver’s Licence After Car Crash

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

Shia LaBeouf, presenter and star of "Transformers," winner Best

22-year-old actor Shia LaBeouf had his driver’s license suspended on January 17, 2009. On July 27, 2008 LaBeouf was involved in a car crash which injured his hand. Authorities on the scene believed that the “Disturbia” star was intoxicated. LaBeouf refused to comply with a chemical test and was arrested but did not face DUI charges due to insufficient evidence.

Now half a year later the star is losing his driver’s licence for the length of one year. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to Shia LaBeouf, whenever a driver refuses a blood alcohol test they automatically face a suspended license.

This isn’t the first time Shia LaBeouf has had a run in with the law. In 2007 he was arrested for criminal trespassing in a Walgreens store. The criminal charges were later dropped. In 2008 an arrest warrant was issued for LaBeouf when he failed to appear at a court hearing regarding a ticket for unlawful smoking. Those charges were also later dismissed and he paid a $500.00 fine.

It seems like this hot actor just can’t catch a break. I mean who could believe that he’d actually get ticketed over a smoking violation let alone almost arrested? He may be unlucky with the law but he is lucky when it comes to his career. Last year Shia LaBeouf starred in hit movies “Eagle Eye” and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” and in 2009 he’s starring in his second Transformers film “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen” and the romantic movie “New York, I Love You.”

Monday, January 19th, 2009

According to People.com Kelly Osbourne has been arrested on assault charges. The 24-year-old is the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne and is known for her outrageous look and assertive personality. The public got to know Kelly Osbourne when she starred on the reality television show “The Osbournes” which featured her famous father Ozzy and his interaction with his family.

The arrest is taking place after the angry star allegedly slapped Zoe Griffin, a gossip reporter in the summer of 2008. Griffin claimes that Kelly Osbourne approached her in a night club upset about an article she wrote that put down her fiance Luke Worrall, who is a model.

In 2004 Kelly Osbourne spent time in rehab recovering from a pain killer addiction but has been doing well and working hard as an actress, singer, and model. Although the talented Osbourne has a sweet nature her impulsiveness sometimes lands her in trouble, and unfortunately this is one of those times.

Was Bizarre Dog Theft Sparked By “Marley and Me” Movie?

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

Of course the dog in the recent “Marley and Me” movie starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson is adorable. One Orange County man definitely thought so, but unfortunately he couldn’t afford the expensive breed of dog and resorted to stealing a “Marley and Me” look-a-like from a pet store.

According to news reports 23 year-old Ryan Rickman stole the dog from Pet City three days before Christmas to give to his girlfriend as a Christmas present. Rickman was caught and now faces grand theft charges.

Once his girlfriend found out that she’d received a stolen pet she quickly paid the pet store $1,300 to keep the dog. Hopefully she’ll be calling herself Rickman’s “ex-girlfriend” in 2009.

“Marley and Me” dogs are selling like hot cakes but nothing beats the original, meet “Brownie” one of the highly trained dogs that starred in the movie:
