Katherine Jackson Receives Custody - Plus Michael’s Secret Child Omar

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Michael Jackson memorial service held at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

After weeks of speculation on who would gain the custody of pop star Michael Jackson’s three children, Paris, Prince, and Prince II (a.k.a. Blanket) the court has granted custody to Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson.

Michael Jackson’s last Will and Testament named his mother Katherine as guardian but many people wondered if the biological mother of Paris and Prince Jackson, Debbie Rowe, would begin a custody battle. Debbie Rowe did not seek custody but did receive visitation rights and plans to form a relationship with the children.

Debbie Rowe was active in Paris and Prince’s lives when they were very young but after divorcing Michael Jackson she left the Neverland Ranch and her children behind.

Rowe did not ask for any kind of monetary compensation from the Jackson family but will continue to receive the monthly settlement payments she received while Michael Jackson was alive.

Just as Michael Jackson’s three children are settling into their new home with their 79-year-old grandmother, Michael Jackson’s father announced that the recent rumors of his son having a fourth child are true.

Although there has been no DNA test done to confirm that Omar Bhatti, 25, is truly Michael Jackson’s son Michael’s father Joe seems certain that he is. According to rumors Omar Bhatti was the result of a one night stand that Jackson had with a Norwegian fan.

Omar Bhatti even sat with the Jackson clan during Michael Jackson’s recent Memorial Service, and many can’t help notice that Omar Bhatti looks much like Michael Jackson did when he was young.

For now whether Omar Bhatti is Michael Jackson’s son or not remains a mystery. Bhatti himself has stated that he is not the Jackson’s son but that the two were just close. Either way, Omar Bhatti has managed to capture world wide interest, and who knows where his new found fame will take him.

Here’s Joe Jackson talking about his son Michael’s “secret love child” in a recent interview:

Hulk Hogan Wife Linda Finalize Divorce Proceedings

2005 Billboard Music Awards - Arrivals

After over a year of battling one another, celebrity wrestler Hulk Hogan who’s real name is Terry Bollea and wife Linda Bollea met peacefully at their divorce settlement hearing.

Their time in court was brief and ended with Linda Bollea kissing her ex-husband on the cheek. A sign of friendship? Possibly, but Linda may just be thankful for the huge divorce settlement she received. Although no official numbers have been released the Bollea’s net worth was listed at over $26 million in their 2008 court filings, and Linda has likely received a hefty chunk of that money.

With money disputes out of the way it looks like the couple who were married for 24 years and have two children together can finally move on with their lives. As Linda Bollea said after the divorce settlement hearing “The war is over.”

Michael Jackson’s Doctor Raided - The Investigation of Dr. Murray

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Raid on Michael Jacksons Doctors clinic in Houston

Michael Jackson’s doctor, cardiologist Dr. Conrad Murray hasn’t been happy with all of the negative media reports blaming him for Jackson’s sudden heart failure on June 25, 2009. Dr. Murray was hired by Michael Jackson at an astonishing rate of $150,000 a month to provide whatever medical care Jackson required.

Shortly after Jackson death it was reported that Dr. Murray was not a suspect in the Jackson case. But Jackson’s family and the media continued to demand anwers, wanting to know more about the involvement of those who were in Michael’s life at the time of his death.

It’s not only the media who think Dr. Conrad Murray might have had something to do with Michael Jackson’s death, but law enforcement is questioning a possible involvement as well. Police obtained search warrants this week so they could thoroughly investigate Dr. Murray’s Houston doctor’s clinic and storage unit.

During the raid 27 tablets of Phentermine (appetite suppressant), 1 tablet of clonazepam (anti-anxiety), Rolodex cards, and a computer were removed from Dr. Murray’s office. From his storage unit police seized hospital documents, including a suspension notice, IRS notices, and two computer hard drives.

Michael Jackson 1958-2009

Meanwhile the L.A. County coroner is waiting for the results of Michael Jackson’s toxicology tests which are expected to be released in as a soon as a week but could take longer.

Michael Jackson’s toxicology results will finally determine the cause of death which will help investigators to decide if any outside forces including Dr. Murray had an impact on Michael’s Jackson’s health, and finally death. If Dr. Murray’s accounts of Michael Jackson’s final days are accurate then the toxicology results could help prove his innocence, clearing his name.

Since Michael Jackson was known to have prescription drug dependency issues long before Dr. Murray arrived on the scene it will be interesting to see how this police investigation plays out.

Will Debbie Rowe Seek Custody Of Jackson Kids? Recent Update

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

Debbie Rowe at her home in Palmdale, California.

It’s been two weeks since Michael Jackson’s sudden death and the mother of two of the Jackson children Debbie Rowe, 50, still has not publicly announced whether or she not intends to fight for custody.

In his final Will which was written in 2002 Michael Jackson left all three of his children to his mother Katherine Jackson, 79. If Katherine Jackson was unable or unwilling to care for Paris Katherine, Prince Michael, and Prince Michael II (nicknamed Blanket) Michael Jackson’s wishes were for singer Diana Ross to raise his children.

Michael Jackson did not mention his ex-wife Debbie Rowe, the mother of Paris Katherine and Prince Michael, in his Will other than to state that he’d intentionally left her out. In Michael Jackson’s final years Debbie Rowe did not see her two children or Jackson, and received monetary compensation after their divorce.

Since Debbie Rowe was initially involved in her kids lives some thought that she might fight Michael Jackson’s wishes and try to regain custody of Paris and Michael Jackson. It is obvious that since Debbie Rowe cut herself out of her children’s lives they have formed a deep bond with the Jackson family, and Katherine Jackson who now has temporary custody of all three of Michael’s children is happy to permanently raise them.

There has been some speculation by various media sources that the only interest Debbie Rowe has in her children is the amount of money that she can receive from the Jackson family to give up any parental rights she has left.

But perhaps Debbie Rowe might actually think that at this point her two children are better off with Jackson family and their little brother Prince Michael II who has a different surrogate mother.

Debbie Rowe’s involvement with Michael Jackson has been complex since day one, it will be interesting to see what choices Rowe will make over the next few weeks.
